Research Standing Committee

Welcome to the Web pages of the Research Standing Committee of the International Confederation of Midwives.

The purpose of the Committee is to strengthen the development of midwifery research within the Confederation by the provision of a venue within the structure of the organisation that supports the overall mission and aims of the Confederation. The Confederation believes that acceptable standards of midwifery practice, education and management are based on reliable and valid research and accurate evaluation of midwifery practices.
